Coca Cola Sips n’ Sounds

Bringing Music to Life with an Immersive Festival Experience

On July 29, 2023, the Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds Summer Festival, amplified by Coke Studio, brought a unique music experience to the Texan audience. Designed to localize Coke’s national and global music campaigns, this one-day festival at the Moody Amphitheater at Waterloo Park in Austin headlined The Chainsmokers and various notable artists. Beyond the stage, an accompanying street fest including the Coca-Cola Food Truck Park, the Coca-Cola Ice House experience, Coke Studio, and partner activations added to the vibrancy of the event.

As Program Director, Twenty6 Productions oversaw every program and production element, from event setup and execution to live event logistics, talent management, and program teardown. With careful attention to detail, we ensured that all program deliverables were completed by the deadlines, and managed the site effectively, overseeing vendor advance load-in and on-site placement supervision.

Serving as Talent Director, the team navigated the complex landscape of talent logistics. This included arranging talent contracts, organizing artist promotional trips, managing artist budgets and invoices, and ensuring each performance went off without a hitch. We ensured that every performance element was in place, from stage setup, lighting, backline, and sound installation, to managing artist schedules and supervising pre-show activities.

In the role of Stage Manager, we ensured seamless on-stage and backstage activities, supporting the production, talent, and technical crew throughout the production and rehearsal process. As Production Manager, our responsibilities spanned managing the production, logistical, and technical aspects of the live event, developing and managing run of show, floor plans, site plans, event credentials, and all directional signage.

At the Coca-Cola Sips & Sounds Summer Festival, every attendee felt like a VIP. Our meticulous management transformed the Moody Amphitheater into an intimate setting, where artists’ performances met in-venue experiences, setting a new standard for Coca Cola’s localized music campaigns.
